Once you get the oem box out, it took me about half an hour to install, and I'm no mechanic. This is added to my first review, now with pics, there is so much more room, and looks simple to clean. Great innovation, service has been unbelievable, I had an issue, and Amy took care of it, even after hours. You don't see that kind of service any more. I look forward to upgrading more for my truck, 257k, and they will all come from here. Don't hesitate, they are an amazing company.

Had my ford mechanic install it. Took him less than an hour start to finish. Eliminated the pressure build up in crank case.

I had the CCV reroute with the internal catch can (aka cheese grater) and it didn't seem to lose any oil however, it created a lot of smoke coming from under the truck. I am going to try this now. I left the internal catch can in and trimmed the hose a bit to compensate for that. Easy install!

Considering the challenges removing the stock filter, this Aftermarket will make my life easier in the future, when cleaning and inspecting the filter. 2022 OEM box seems only to run the crankcase gas through a bunch of baffles and then exit to the intake. The SPE finger is easy to inspect and should reduce the oil moving through the intake.

It’s a great kit. I love the quality of your products. It was just as described and easy to install. The only thing I would love for you to add is a spot when purchasing the kit for longer bolts for when you are installing this kit with your internal catch can. The bolts that come with the kit are too short and does not work with internal catch can. The bolts with the internal catch can are too short to work with both kits. But other than that this is a great design and I look forward to see how it performs. Thanks for the great product

First thought was I felt this was a little pricey but after I received it and looked at the quality of the material and craftsmanship that was put into this item I was very impressed and realized you get what you pay for with SPE. Great quality, built to last, everything you need to install. I have no worries that this item will work great for my 6.7 and last a lifetime. Shipping was super fast. The CCV replacement is done and working great. The parts seem to be made with quality and precision. You can see from the photos that it opens up a significant amount of space on that side of the engine bay. I wanted to unclutter that side, especially considering that I already have the additional fuel filter and lines on that side (disaster prevention kit).
No fault of SPE, but I’d like to have 5 minutes alone with a big wrench and the engineers who designed where the bolts go for the fuel lines, fuel filter cup, and OEM CCV. Removal of the OE part is a pain, make sure you have time to spare, various socket extensions, and some swivels . Removal took me about an hour, (and I’m a decent mechanic). Install took a whopping 10 minutes and was exceptionally easy. I’m looking forward to not having to mess with that OE one ever again.

Very nice kit! Wanted the recirculating so.... The install was fairly easy after the removal of the OEM CCV filter housing. Those back 2 bolts were a pain but finally got them out. This box is simple and easy. The only thing I would do it lengthen the silicon hose by about 1 inch. Other than that it is an excellent fit and frees up even more space. Nicely done by SPE on this one!

I recently had a breakdown 600 miles away from home while towing our camper. It required my 2017 F250 to be towed to a Diesel repair shop to repair blown transmission cooling lines. They took care of the problem, and as he handed me a $1,400 bill, he pulled me aside to show me an "urgent" issue recommendation. My motor was building enough back pressure to just make the oil cap dance. "That CCV box is your problem. They get clogged, and it will cause your motor to blow seals. You're going to want to either replace it right away with an OEM part, or even better - do a CCV reroute before it gets any worse." I did my research, and I didn't want a reroute that vents to atmosphere. This recirculating CCV reroute kit is AWESOME. It's solidly built, and it took only about an hour to install - but only because the furthest-back bolt was a beast to reach with the drive extensions I had on hand. The new SPE part went in like butter. The build quality superb - and it's serviceable, unlike the OEM constipated pig that took forever to remove. And no more oil cap Dance of Impending Doom!
If you want to permanently fix Ford's engineered CCV disaster without having to smell crankcase vapor whenever your truck is running, GET THIS. It's the best solution I have personally seen.
If only I had been aware of SPE's transmission cooling lines upgrade before the shop replaced mine with Ford OEM parts...

When I learned about this CCV box alternative, I knew this is what I wanted to do instead of deleting and rerouting. I have had this installed for 4 days and all is well. My crank case ventilation box engine light code has even gone away since the install. Very happy with this upgrade!

Very nice kit overall. The only issue was the line from the filter housing to the lower intake manifold was just a hair short....would have liked to have about 1/2 inch more BUT it worked out well. The zip ties are not a bad idea and really to not cheapen the product. Everything was well made/casted/conceived so it really fit well. The install was not hard but getting the 2 rear OEM bolts out sucked. Am very happy with this product...added the cheese grater to this as well so it should be a great addition!

Install was super easy with the provided directions. This really is the best company I’ve found for aftermarket support. They send out directions and have YouTube videos. The CCV recirculation kit works great if you do not want to smell or see oil vapor or stain your drive way. It also eliminates the need for a catch can. It is the perfect replacement for the factory CCV box. I highly recommend. Really can’t say enough great things about this company!

Great install on my 2011 f250. If you loosen the fuel rail support directly under the bolt that secures the ccv box it gives enough room to fit an Allen key so it's not completely necessary to take out the fule rail. Removing the intercooler pipe is recommended for attaching the outlet tup tube back to the tubo. The outlet tube should be an inch or 2 longer. It is difficult to pull it tight enough so it has enough space for hose clamps. Because of its short length the provided cable ties do not tighten enough to keep it secure because of how much the tube needs to be tight inorder to have enough hose over the pipes from the ccv box and return tube back to the tubo. If the return tube was 2 inches longer I don't think anyone will have an issue with this product. I like it's compatibility with the internal catch can witch i also have installed. Over all I think it's and amazing alternative from the factory ccv and the ccv that vents to the atmosphere.

This kit was super easy to install, the instructions were pretty clear & helpful. The hardest part was actually removing the OEM ccv box. I have a 2016 F250 with the ccv sensor, and instead of cutting the plug off of the OE ccv hose & connecting it to the SPE kit, I just left it unplugged and routed the kit as normal. 1/4 drive 10mm sockets & extentions w/ universal joints are your friend!

Excuse the messy engine bay in the pictures. I work the heck out of my truck so she stays dirty even when I clean her. The SPE ccv box is hands down the ONLY solution everyone should consider, and if you are considering, just buy it! It is a very high quality piece that was super easy to install. It took longer to remove the factory ccv box than it did to install my new badass SPE ccv box. That makes a few items from SPE that I have on my truck! Always the highest quality and excellent customer service!

So far install was pretty straight forward, only concern is the hose from the outlet of the separator to the air inlet on the turbo. The hose seems a little short and is pulled pretty tight and am concerned the hose could possibly pull out of the connector from vibration with only the clamping force of the zip tie for how tight it’s pulled; and possibly ingest dirt. Will be towing first time this weekend with it so will see how it performs under load. Other than that one concern everything installed flawlessly.
