SPE knows that the average person wants more than 11-12 PSI of boost from their 2023+ Raptor R. SPE has wasted no time developing a seamless, adjustable, and lightweight solution.
The SPE pulley system allows the customer to change sizes with ease quickly. This pulley system is the lightest available. You can find the SPE Motorsport pulley setups on the fastest stock blower cars in the country.
The patent pending CNC Convex Knurling process (CKP) on the SPE pulleys offers a perfect balance between belt grip and wear. The machining process allows the rib surface to offer varying grip under different belt loads. Under minimal boost (light Throttle) the belt tension is lower at the pulley face. The process offers a low load area for the belt to have normal factory-like contact on the rib face allowing the belt to wear less over time. When the load is applied it is wedged down into the Convex knurling the grip becomes more aggressive to the belt the higher the load (Boost demand) becomes. This keeps the belt on a perfect grip/wear threshold. Unlike Laser surface etching found on our competitors' pulleys our process doesn't degrade or wear off. Since our pulleys don't wear they are more consistent giving the customer better track times and dyno numbers. Although SPE's CNC Convex Knurling Process is costly to produce, we are more concerned with providing our customers the best quality product at the best price possible.
***The larger 3.2, 2.9, 2.8, and 2.7 pulleys are available as standard pulleys without our CKP; in certain applications the added grip isn't necessary with larger pulleys.
SPE has many options to put together the perfect setup for your car. When deciding pulley sizing .100 smaller equals a 1 PSI increase depending on altitude. Not sure what you need? Contact us, and our sales team can help you narrow down the details!
Note:
*** Belt sizing for the 2.9-2.6 without an idler we recommend the K080680. When going with 2.5 and smaller pulleys belt sizes will vary depending on idler type.
